Caption:  This Chart shows maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) for each site in the Mark West sub-basin with available data in the years 1997-2001. Sites are grouped by stream and are listed in upstream order, beginning on the left side of the chart with the lowest Mark West Creek site and ending with the upper Humbug Creek listed on the far right. MWATs exceeded 16.8°C all sites except the uppermost Mark West (site 11). Welsh et al. (2001) found that coho are not likely to persist where MWAT exceeds 16.8°C. See InfoLinks for more information.
