Temperature: Min, Max and Average NF Noyo at Hayworth 1999 |

Caption: Water temperatures in the North Fork Noyo at Hayworth Creek (site 07) peaked at ~17.9 C in late June, ~18.3 C in early July, and 19.0 C in late August 1999 with diurnal temperature shifts of ~4.2 C, ~2.5 C, and ~1.9 C respectively. The seasonal temperature variation was ~8.9 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company. Click on Picture to see a map of temperature monitoring locations.
