This photo shows Dry Creek near Highway 128 milepost 43.3, during high winter flows at 4pm on December 31, 2002. The stream channel is in poor condition. It is shallow, braided, unconfined, several hundred feet wide, and has almost no riparian vegetation. The invasive exotic giant reed (Arundo donax) grows at the center of the photograph.
