Habitat Typing: NF South Fork Noyo Percent by Length |
|
Caption: The chart above shows percent occurrence by length of three habitat categories in North Fork South Fork Noyo River taken from a habitat typing survey conducted by the California Conservation Corp in September-October 1996. The survey covered 44,729 feet or 8.5 miles. The NF South Fork Noyo has relatively high pool frequency for the Noyo Basin with pools constituting 32% of habitats by length. However, the 4% dry reaches indicate that some sediment problems may exist in this stream. Data supplied for use in KRIS by the California Department of Fish and Game, Sacramento, CA.
