Fish: Electrofishing Bear Gulch 1995 (pooled samples) |
|
Caption: Bear Gulch is a first-order (0.9 sq. mi. watershed) tributary of the South Fork Noyo River, and in 1995 electrofishing samples showed that coho salmon juveniles out-numbered steelhead. Data was collected as part of a habitat typing survey of the lower 3000 feet Bear Gulch by technicians trained by CDFG. See InfoLinks for more information about fish sampling methods.
