The image above shows USFS vegetation stand types for the Hayworth Creek CalWater planning watershed based on a 1994 Landsat image. The stand types are only accurate at the one hectare scale. The upper North Fork Hayworth Creek shows mostly early seral conditions with saplings (trees < 5") and non-forest predominating. Medium-large trees (20-29.9") are present along the lower NF Hayworth and the south side of the mainstem Hayworth Creek. See InfoLinks for more information.
