Topic	Temperature: Min, Max and Average Hayworth above NF Noyo 1999

 

Caption:  Water temperatures in Hayworth Creek at the NFk Noyo (site 03) in 1999 peaked at ~19.4 C in early July. The maximum diurnal temperature shift was of just over 3 C and the seasonal variation was approximately 10 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company.
