Temperature: Min, Max and Average Hayworth above NF Hayworth 1999 |

Caption: Water temperatures in Hayworth Creek above the North Fork Hayworth (site 06) in 1999 peaked at ~19.8 C in early July, and ~19.3 C in late August. The maximum diurnal temperature shift was approximately 3.5 C and the seasonal variation was approximately 10.5 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company.
