Habitat Typing: Duffy Gulch Canopy Cover |

Caption: The canopy cover of Duffy Gulch was 79%, leaving 21% of the gulch open to direct sun according to an August 1996 habitat typing survey. The length of the survey was 9,815 feet or 1.9 miles. Conifers provided shade to 63% of the locations measured, while deciduous trees such as alder and willow provided 16%. Data collected by Georgia Pacific and supplied for use in KRIS by the California Department of Fish and Game, Sacramento, CA.
