Habitat Typing: Little North Fork Noyo Canopy Cover |

Caption: The canopy cover of the Little North Fork Noyo River was 83% with 17% open to direct sun according to an August 1996 habitat typing survey. Conifers provided shade to 46% of the stream while deciduous trees such as alder and willow provided 37%. The survey covered 22,458 feet, or approximately 4.3 miles, to a point where there were impassable barriers. Data collected by Georgia Pacific and supplied for use in KRIS by the California Department of Fish and Game, Sacramento, CA.
