Mouth of the Noyo River before levee construction. The mouth of the river appears to be flowing near the cliffs, similar to the Garcia River mouth configuration. The photo is circa 1900-1920. The estuary at this point must have been considerably filled in by sediment from steam donkey and railroad logging. Caption from Robert Lee Collection: "Remains of A. W.
