Caption: The chart above shows the daily minimum, maximum, and average water temperature in Celsius (°C) at Horse Creek (site 140) for the year 1999. Temperatures were above 15.6°C, the upper optimal temperature for salmonid rearing, for almost the entire 1999 season. The reference value of 10-15.6°C optimum temperature range for juvenile salmonid rearing is based on McCullough (1999). Sullivan et al. (2000) considered 25°C as lethal for Pacific salmon species.
