Sediment: Gravel Permeabilities in the Navarro River Basin, 1999 |

Caption: The chart shows mean gravel permeabilities of stream segments in the Navarro River watershed and expected survival of salmonid eggs on the right axis. Low permeabilities were found in Flume Gulch and Elk Creek, with less than 30% survival of salmonid eggs expected. Only Flynn Creek, the mainstem Navarro and North Branch NF Navarro had expected survival rates of greater than 50%. Salmonid egg survival index based on Tagart (1976) and McCuddin (1977).
