Caption: This chart shows the daily maximum, average and minimum water temperatures in Fahrenheit for the South Fork Scott River at the Baker property during summer 1998. Data were collected from June to October using Hobotemp data recorders. The South Fork Scott at this location has water temperatures which are very suitable for salmonids with at least daily minimums ranging within the optimal growth range for almost all of the period of record. The South Fork warms somewhat as it drops in elevation from Blue Jay Creek (see next Topic). Data provided by the Siskiyou Resource Conservation District. See Info Links fro more information.
