Caption: The chart above shows the downstream migrant trap results for Pine Creek for the spring and summer of 1995. Trapping commenced on 2/22/95 and ran through 7/14/95, and sampling took place on 67 days. Two traps were operated only later in the season in Pine Creek, but the results above reflect the total of both traps. The number of salmonid juveniles trapped in Pine Creek was very low in 1995, but flow conditions were quite high and may have impaired trap efficiencies. Lack of older age steelhead in the sample may be in part owing to trap avoidance. AMMOC is ammocoetes or Pacific lamprey larvae. The data were collected by the Hoopa Tribal Fisheries Department.
