KRIS Humboldt Bay: Chart Table Page
Area | Freshwater Creek-Ryan Slough |
Topic | Sediment: Freeze Core Sample Fines <1mm 1988 (Barnard) |
Caption: The Chart Table BarnSumm.dbf was captured from the Humboldt State University Master's Thesis by Keith Barnard and reflects freeze core gravel samples carried out at several locations within the Freshwater Creek watershed. The most relevent sediment size for baseline comparisons with PL shovel and McNeil samples is 1mm, which is very close to the 0.85mm fine sediment class provided by PL at similar locations from 1994-1999. See Picture for a map of locations. See Info Links for more information and a link to Barnard's (1992) M.S. Thesis.
