   | | Caption:  The upper Jacoby Creek Calwater Planning Watershed was dominated by Medium (11-24") and Small (6-11") diameter at breast height (dbh) as of 1994, according to Landsat analysis on a 1994 image by Humboldt State University. Since pre-disturbance conditions here would include trees over 6 feet in diameter, the seral stage conditions suggest a long history of silviculture. See Info Links to learn more about use of Landsat imagery for watershed analysis. Data from Humboldt State University with summaries by the Institute for Fisheries Resources. |
