Caption: This chart shows mean pool-tail gravel permeabilities in the South Fork Garcia above the Little South Fork Garcia. Whiskers show one standard error about the mean. Pool-tail permeabilities were very high at two sites and very low at several others. The average permeability for the stream study segment is approximately 12000 cm/hr (pink line), with a minimum value of 152 cm/hr. Data were collected by the Mendocino Redwood Company in 2000 as part of their long-term channel monitoring program. See InfoLinks for more information.
